ShareFAIR & Neurovasc Days: Advancing Reproducibility in Neurovascular Data Analysis

Overview

How can scientific data analyses be made more reproducible, transparent and reusable? As research generates increasingly large and heterogeneous datasets, the ability to document methods, share resources and trace the different stages of an analysis has become a major challenge for the reliability and reuse of scientific results.

These are some of the key questions that will be addressed during the ShareFAIR & Neurovasc Days, taking place on 3 and 4 November 2026 at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. Jointly organised by ShareFAIR and Neurovasc, two projects supported by the PEPR Santé Numérique, the event will bring together researchers, engineers and digital health professionals around a shared objective: advancing the reproducibility of data analysis, particularly in the field of neurovascular data.

From Data Management to Reproducible Analysis

Reproducibility is not limited to sharing datasets. It also involves the methods and tools used to analyse them, as well as the ability to document and reproduce the different stages of a data-processing workflow.

The ShareFAIR project addresses these challenges by developing approaches for designing FAIR, reusable and reproducible protocols and workflows. In particular, the project aims to improve the documentation of analytical processes and their provenance, thereby strengthening the reliability and trustworthiness of the results produced.

The ShareFAIR & Neurovasc Days will provide an opportunity to explore these challenges through concrete examples of neurovascular data analysis and to bring together perspectives from different scientific communities.

A Programme Focused on Data, Methods and Workflows

Over the two-day event, participants will discover research projects and practical experiences covering topics such as FAIR management of clinical and genomic data, clinical information extraction using natural language processing and artificial intelligence, and the development of reproducible and reusable workflows.

The programme will also address questions related to data provenance and frameworks supporting data interoperability. The event will combine scientific presentations, demonstrations, practical experiences, keynote talks and panel discussions.

Several experts will contribute to the programme, sharing perspectives on reproducibility, data management, analytical methods and the reuse of scientific resources.

Connecting Approaches Across the PEPR Santé Numérique Community

Beyond the specific challenges of neurovascular data, these Days highlight several cross-cutting issues addressed by the PEPR Santé Numérique: data structuring and sharing, reproducibility of analyses, traceability of data processing, interoperability, and the development of reusable methods and tools.

The event will also provide an opportunity to connect different scientific communities and explore how approaches developed in a specific research context can contribute to broader challenges in digital health research.

By bringing together the ShareFAIR and Neurovasc communities around shared challenges, the event aims to encourage the exchange of experience and methods, while opening up new perspectives for more open, robust and reproducible research.

Participation is free of charge but requires prior registration. Registration is open until October the 18th, 2026.
